How You Tube Can Help Your Website!

Are you looking for a new way to differentiate your site? Want something fresh and new to add to your home page or articles? Streaming video from YouTube is fast becoming the way to go! There are literally millions of videos to choose from to add something new to your site. Informative or humorous, you can easily add any type of video to your site by simply embedding a few lines of HTML on to your Web page.

Adding a video to your site is pretty simple. All you need to do is locate the URL/Embed lines (See Image), which are to the right of each YouTube video, then cut and paste the script found next to ‘Embed’ into the html on the page you wish to show the video.

Also, if you add “&autoplay=1” to the URL within the “src=” tag, the viewer won’t have to press the play button on the middle of the screen, the video will begin to play as soon as the page is downloaded.  

N.B. - Make sure you choose a video that will not offend viewers or discourage them from venturing further into your site. Choose wisely and use discretion - you don’t want to annoy your potential customers or have them hestitate to return to your site for fear of seeing a dodgy or irritating video!
