Linking to External Pages External links are links that allow you to go from somewhere on your website to somewhere on someone else’s website. Using the same example as we have used in the “Linking to Internal Pages” Tutorial, If you are promoting a vehicle on your website, you would probably want to set a link to the manufacturer’s website. To link to an external page, log into your website, and open the page you want to place a link on (the same as you would do for an internal link), then click on the chain icon in the toolbar. This will open a new window, here you can now choose “Insert External Link” from the first drop down menu, and type in the desired website from the second drop down menu.
