Adding links to your content on your web pages is very, very simple. Follow the steps below to learn how!
1. Opening the page you want to add a link to:
Login to your website with Publize.
If you have more than one website, select the one you would like to edit from the drop down box in the top-right of the menu bar.
Click on the "Pages" tab.
Find the page you would like to add a link to and click on the Edit icon for that page.
2. Writing and selecting the text for the link:
Scroll down to the position on the page where you would like to place the link.
If you have not yet written the content for the link itself then type it in as normal content, positioned where you would like the link to go.
Highlight the text you want to make a link by selecting it with your mouse. (Note: Once you have created the link you can come back and change its content, without affecting where the link goes).
Click on the "Insert a hyperlink" icon, located near the top left of the formatting toolbar. This will open a small window for you to choose what type of link to create.
3. Choosing what type of link to use:
There are four different types of links in the drop down box that you can choose from.
Insert External Link - An External link is a link that goes to a page on another website.
